Add nonionic emulsifiers with a longpolyoxyethylene chain in the anionic emulsion, it helps to increase therelative stability of the silicone resin emulsion. This is because in line withthe use of two emulsifiers in the emulsion polymerization process arealternately adsorbed on the surface of the latex particles. This will not onlyput on the latex particles from the particle surface emulsifier widening, andelectrostatic shielding effect of nonionic emulsifiers, reducing the staticsurface tension of the latex particles, the emulsifier enhanced adsorptionfastness on latex particles. Meanwhile, the anionic compound used nonionicemulsifiers, anionic emulsifiers can stabilize the charge and the sterichindrance of the nonionic emulsifier to produce a synergistic effect. These arebeneficial to improve the stability of the emulsion polymerization process.However, in the total amount of emulsifier to maintain the same premise, withthe increasing amount of non-ionic emulsifiers, it is not conducive to thestability of the emulsion, so its amount has not better.
Thus considered, the quality of anionicemulsifier and nonionic emulsifier ratio of 2: 1, silicone resin emulsion conversionrate, good stability.
